Sally comes to Denver CASA with over 15 years of experience in Colorado’s nonprofit sector. Having spent 7 years in development, she has been working with youth or supervising staff and volunteers working with youth in Northeast Denver since 2010. Sally is passionate about social justice, youth development and working with underserved communities. Sally graduated from The University of Denver with a Master’s of Social Work in 2012. She is originally from Berkeley, California and enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.
As the Program Director, Sally supervises the Advocate Supervisor team and manages the Peer Coordinator Program, in addition to managing several CASA Volunteers herself. She also specializes in data collection and oversight, ensuring Denver CASA’s evaluation systems are thorough and robust.
