Shayla Covington

Lead Advocate Supervisor

Shayla joined Child Advocates – Denver CASA in 2014. Shayla graduated from Creighton University with her Bachelor’s degree in Theology, and she recently completed her Master’s degree in Social Change from Iliff School of Theology. Prior to her work with Child Advocates, Shayla worked with the Colorado Department of Human Services.

As the Lead Advocate Supervisor, Shayla is responsible for providing support to the CASA program by training and supervising volunteers, monitoring and maintaining data on assigned cases and volunteers, and assisting with supervision and leadership of the program.
