Rachel joined Child Advocates – Denver CASA in March 2020. She has a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Appalachian State University and a Masters of Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Rachel served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Peru and has worked in nonprofit programming for over 11 years, with a focus on financial stability for individuals and families. Rachel was sworn in as a CASA volunteer with CASA of Jefferson and Gilpin Counties in August 2017 and has volunteered as an external consultant for Permanency Roundtables in Jefferson County. In her free time, she enjoys running, hiking, cooking, reading, and watching TV.
